During my career, I have found that many doctors are driven by maximizing financial gain. However, I get much more satisfaction when my patients get better. Also, I am very aware that many patients financial resources are limited and try to practice in a cost/benefit manner that respects this.  Having described this, I never lose sight of the best outcome and this is always my goal.

I am also passionate about helping patients with challenging pain problems including Fibromyalgia (centralized pain) and failed surgery syndromes. This passion long ago led to my having a unique appreciation and understanding for the suffering caused by Fibromyalgia (centralized pain) - and absolutely believe that FM patients are the least likely to manufacturer symptoms, whether or not our textbooks can make sense of them.
